Answered Prayer
So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.<o:p></o:p>
Acts 12:5
God answers the prayers of the church and miraculously rescues Peter from prison. When he comes to where the church had gathered and were still praying (Acts 12:12), they were in disbelief to the reality of their prayers being answered. But it was true! Peter had been delivered from certain death. He described how the angel of the Lord brought him out of prison.
Pray earnestly. Expect God to answer! He will always answer. Maybe not in the way you would like, but God will always answer. And as we’re learning from Job – regardless of His answer, Almighty God is worthy of our reverence. Worship Him.
Father, lead me to places of deeper, more earnest prayer. I want to see Your power displayed through my life and the life of Your church. Display Your power for the community to see so that all glory may be given to You.<o:p></o:p>
