“Last night an angel of the God whose I am and whom I serve stood before me…”
Paul had been a prisoner for several months – unjustly at that – but here he describes himself as the very possession and servant of God.
It seems opposite, and is opposite of what is valued in this culture, but the greatest description for me would be to echo Paul… I belong to God. I am His servant. I do His bidding. Today I can be God’s possession and do His will.
Father, I know that this is the path of blessing – to know Yo; To be owned by You and to serve You. Today this is my mindset… this is my heart. Be glorified through me today. I am not my own, you bought me at a great price! I praise You! You are Almighty God.
