19While Peter was still thinking about the vision, the Spirit said to him, “Simon, three men are looking for you. 20So get up and go downstairs. Do not hesitate to go with them, for I have sent them.”
Oh how I want to hear God speak to me! I have heard his (inaudible) voice before. He has spoken to my spirit in clear and specific ways. Man, do I need that! I hunger for God’s voice, His leading and His guidance in my life. It is humbling that God would speak to me. I also understand it to be a demonstration of His love for me. He has not forgotten about me. He has not lost track of where I am or what I am going through! He knows and He loves me enough to speak into my life. The Bible is God’s Word to me and I hear the Spirit often and powerfully when I read and journal. This is why daily devotions are so important for my life as a disciple.
Thank You, Lord for speaking with me this morning! I am blessed beyond words to be loved and lead by You. Interrupt my day at any time to speak to me. I am Your servant and I am listening.
